Open Air Meriwether is an annual invitational Plein Air Event sponsored by Arts Meriwether, a community arts association, Big Red Oak Plantation, a hunting preserve in Gay GA, and Artisans on the Square, a fine art gallery in Greenville GA.
Meriwether County is a rural community covering 500 square miles, with a population of 22,000 in 7 incorporated cities, with endless opportunities for painting landscapes, waterscapes and historic structures.
